The 47th edition of the festival brought with it a reimagined exhibition space, strategically dividing the 360 boats at Vieux Port and the 340 at Port Canto. This new layout facilitated a smoother visitor experience, making it easier to navigate the diverse offerings. Vieux Port focused on showcasing new motor yachts, while Port Canto dedicated its space to sailing boats, including 120 newly unveiled vessels.
A highlight of the festival was the introduction of the Power Boat Marina at Port Canto, covering an impressive 3,000 m2 and accommodating 175 boats. This dedicated space offered visitors a unique platform to experience a variety of motor vessels, from sleek Scandinavian models to high-tech dayboats.
The Cannes Yachting Festival went beyond showcasing the pinnacle of yachting luxury; it also underscored the marine industry’s dedication to environmental responsibility. Exhibitors proudly presented their innovations in boat building, propulsion systems, waste management, and eco-design. An “Innovation Route” was specifically designed to guide visitors through cutting-edge technologies aimed at reducing the industry’s carbon footprint.
The festival kicked off with a distinguished opening ceremony, attended by dignitaries including Ana-Paula Martins De Oliveira, Deputy Mayor of Cannes, and Jean-Paul Chapeleau, President of the French Marine Industry Federation. Collaborations with prestigious brands such as Roche Bobois and Mercedes ByMyCar enhanced the overall experience, while the event also set its sights on achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2040 through various sustainability initiatives.
