Cantex Mine’s North Rackla Project Delivers Impressive Drill Results: 2.65km Strike Length Confirmed, High-Grade Mineralization

Cantex Mine’s North Rackla Project Yields Impressive Drill Results: Significant Expansion of High-Grade Mineralization

KELOWNA, BC, Nov. 27, 2024 – Cantex Mine Development Corp. (CD: CTXDF) is thrilled to announce substantial progress at its fully owned 14,077-hectare North Rackla claim block in the Yukon Territory. The company’s 2024 drill program, overseen by Dr. Charles Fipke, has yielded exceptional results, significantly expanding the known extent of high-grade mineralization.

Drilling Program Highlights:

A total of 33 holes, totaling 6,000 meters, were drilled during the program. This comprised 28 holes targeting the Massive Sulphide Zone and five holes focused on the Copper Zone on the western side of the claim block (as detailed in the August 19, 2024, news release). The drilling strategy at the Massive Sulphide Zone concentrated on the Discovery Sector, resulting in a remarkable 300-meter extension of the strike length of mineralization. This brings the drill-confirmed strike length to an impressive 2.65 kilometers.

Exceptional High-Grade Intercepts:

Analysis of sixteen holes from the Discovery Sector of the Main Zone reveals exceptionally high-grade mineralization. Table 1 below presents the key highlights. Notable intercepts include:

* Hole YKDD24-302B: A 2.4-meter interval grading 25.82% combined lead-zinc within a larger 13.63-meter interval averaging 7.25% combined lead-zinc.
* Hole YKDD24-303: A 2.1-meter interval showing 27.63% lead-zinc, part of a broader 6.35-meter intercept grading 13.91% combined lead-zinc.
* Hole YKDD24-306: An impressive 18.85-meter interval containing 4.03% combined lead-zinc.

Potential for Further Expansion:

Interestingly, drilling in the northeastern portion of the Main Zone revealed elevated copper values. This suggests the potential presence of a central feeder zone for the mineralization. If confirmed, this finding could potentially double the overall strike length of the deposit, a truly exciting prospect for Cantex.

These significant intercepts underscore the substantial size and grade of the Main Zone mineralization. Furthermore, the Main Zone exhibits significant germanium enrichment. Analysis of germanium content in these intervals is underway and will be reported upon completion.

Rigorous Sampling and Analytical Procedures:

To ensure the highest standards of accuracy and reliability, Cantex employed rigorous sampling and analytical procedures. Samples were processed at the ISO 9001 certified CF Mineral Research Ltd. laboratory in Kelowna, BC, utilizing industry-best practices for sample preparation and assaying, including the use of control samples to eliminate contamination.
