Cardone Capital Acquires The Edge at Flagler Village in All-Cash Deal

Cardone Capital, a leading real estate investment firm spearheaded by industry titan Grant Cardone, has made a significant acquisition, securing The Edge at Flagler Village in an all-cash transaction. The Edge, a Class A luxury multifamily property boasting 331 units, is situated in the heart of Downtown Fort Lauderdale. This acquisition was facilitated through Cardone Equity Fund 25, the firm’s latest investment vehicle.

This latest acquisition expands Cardone Capital’s footprint in the Downtown Fort Lauderdale submarket, adding to its existing portfolio of over 2,000 Class A multifamily units. This expansion brings the company’s total apartment holdings to an impressive 14,000 units throughout the Sunbelt region.

Grant Cardone, CEO of Cardone Capital, emphasized the strategic value of this acquisition, stating, “This acquisition presents a tremendous opportunity for our investors. We’ve secured a premium asset with immediate cash flow at a compelling price. With the Fed’s recent rate cut, we expect to enjoy significant capital appreciation on this investment.”

The acquisition of The Edge underscores Cardone Capital’s agility and decisiveness in capitalizing on market opportunities. Notably, the firm has remained active in the multifamily market despite the challenges posed by high interest rates, which have caused many institutional investors to pull back. Cardone Capital’s commitment to all-cash transactions has positioned it to seize these valuable opportunities, as exemplified by the $500 million in all-cash acquisitions the company has closed year-to-date.

Ryan Tseko, Executive Vice President at Cardone Capital, highlighted the firm’s strategic approach, saying, “We’ve been thriving through this market cycle. Our all-cash strategy allows our investors to capitalize on once-in-a-generation buying opportunities. The Edge acquisition is a prime example of this, and we’re excited to share it with our investors.”

Cardone Capital’s commitment to providing investors with access to high-quality real estate investments is evident in its strategy. The firm focuses on acquiring Class A properties in high-growth markets, aiming to deliver consistent cash flow and long-term wealth creation for its investors. Cardone Capital offers accredited and non-accredited investors the opportunity to participate in institutional-grade real estate investments, a level of access typically reserved for large institutional investors.

Since its inception in 2016, Cardone Capital has demonstrated impressive growth, investing over $1.4 billion of equity and building a robust real estate portfolio valued at $5 billion. This portfolio encompasses 14,000 multifamily units and two office properties spanning over 500,000 square feet. Cardone Capital’s consistent performance stands in stark contrast to the challenges faced by other funds and syndicators, who have had to pause distributions and issue capital calls.

Cardone Capital has distributed over $350 million to investors since its inception, with $75 million distributed in the past 12 months alone. This track record of consistent performance and cash flow distributions to investors, without issuing capital calls, has earned Cardone Capital a loyal and expanding investor base.
