The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta) has officially opened the registration window for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024. Aspiring MBA candidates can now apply online at iim.cat.ac.in, starting today, August 1st, at 10 am. The CAT 2024 examination is scheduled for November 2024.

The CAT 2024 Examination will be conducted in test centers located across 170 cities throughout India. During the registration process, MBA aspirants will have the opportunity to select their preferred cities for the allocation of exam centers. Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria to be eligible for the CAT 2024 Examination:

Bachelor’s Degree:
Hold a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA. Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories require a minimum of 45% marks. The degree must be awarded by a recognized university or educational institution.*
Final Year Students:
Candidates in their final year of graduation are eligible to apply.*
Awaiting Results:
Those who are awaiting their graduation results can also apply for the examination.
Conditions for Applying to CAT 2024:
Candidates must fulfill one of the following conditions to be eligible for the CAT 2024 Examination:

Completed Bachelor’s Degree:
Hold a completed Bachelor’s degree with the required percentage of marks.*
Completed Professional Degree:
Completed a professional degree such as CA/CS/ICWA (CMA)/Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of India (FIAI) with the required percentage (as specified in the official notification).*
