Student organizations across party lines at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) have defied a new advisory prohibiting protests near the varsity office. This comes in response to the termination of six contractual workers, the ongoing closure of Barack Hostel, and the university’s suppression of dissenting voices. The JNU Students’ Union (JNUSU) has previously held protests outside the Dean of Students (DoS) office over these issues. The JNUSU has condemned the new advisory as a violation of students’ democratic rights, while the RSS-backed Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has also criticized the order as an attempt to silence student dissent.

CUET UG 2024 Exam City Slip to Be Released Today, May 4

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the CUET UG 2024 Exam City Slip today, May 4. The CUET (UG) 2024 will be conducted in Hybrid mode (CBT and Pen & Paper) mode for about 13.48 lacs candidates at various examination centers located in 380 cities including 26 cities outside India between May 15 and May 24, 2024. Candidates who have successfully registered for the Common University Entrance Test (Undergraduate) 2024 will be able to download the CUET City Intimation Slip 2024 from the official website at exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG.

AP EAMCET 2024 Application Correction Window Now Open

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education has opened the application correction window for AP EAMCET 2024 from May 4 to 6, 2024. Candidates must make the necessary changes to their submitted application forms within this period.
