Around 76.44% of the total 8,92,694 voters cast their votes on April 19 to choose 50 MLAs out of the 60-member assembly in the northeastern state. This development follows similar incidents in Manipur, where repolling was conducted in 11 polling stations due to violence during the first phase of the Lok Sabha elections.

In a recent move, Verint Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: VRNT) Chairman and CEO Dan Bodner sold 35,039 shares of company stock at a price of $30.0 per share, totaling approximately $1.05 million. A 23-year-old man, Devon Johnson, was tragically shot and killed in St. Paul during a marijuana deal gone wrong. Police arrested 17-year-old Deshawn Houston of Eagan and charged him with Johnson’s murder and attempted murder of his friend. The incident occurred on March 14th, and multiple 911 calls alerted authorities to gunshots and fleeing suspects. Police found Johnson in a Jeep with gunshot wounds and performed CPR, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Oregon State University’s men’s basketball team has secured another addition to its 2024-2025 roster with the commitment of small forward Ja’Quavis Williford.
