A Jackson County man was treated and released from the hospital Sunday after suffering a gunshot wound to the head. Police were called to a home in Summit Township, south of the Jackson city limits, for a report of shots fired. The man, 43, was taken to Henry Ford Jackson Hospital for emergency medical treatment. The wound was deemed non-life threatening. Police are looking for a possible shooter and the shooting remains under investigation.
