Deutsche Lufthansa AG Appoints Till Streichert as Chief Financial Officer

The Supervisory Board of Deutsche Lufthansa AG has announced the appointment of Till Streichert as a member of its Executive Board. Effective September 15, 2024, Streichert will assume the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for a three-year term. He will lead the Finance Division, overseeing key areas such as Controlling & Risk Management, Corporate Finance, Corporate Accounting, Investor Relations, and Mergers & Acquisitions. Prior to joining Lufthansa Group, Streichert served as CFO at Amadeus IT Group. Throughout his extensive career, he has held various senior executive and financial management positions at leading companies across multiple industries.

Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, the foundation generated a turnover of Nkr578 million (EUR 52.5 million) and an EBITDA of Nkr103 million (EUR 8.9 million). The two arenas operated by the foundation hosted a total of 123 major events, attracting approximately 640,000 visitors. Building on this success, the foundation is actively pursuing plans to expand Oslo Spektrum and create a state-of-the-art congress and cultural auditorium. With the extension set to begin construction in 2025, NOVA Spektrum Foundation aims to establish Oslo as a top destination for major conferences and congresses.
