Catherine Zeta-Jones’ daughter Carys Douglas has celebrated her 21st birthday in style by sporting her mother’s iconic dress from the 1999 MTV Movie Awards.
Carys took to Instagram to share a stunning photo of herself in the pale pink slip dress, which featured multicoloured stone and white lace embellishments. She captioned the post: ‘The most perfect 21st I could ask for! 🌸’.
Catherine herself commented on the post, writing: ‘You deserve it sweetheart ❤️.’
Carys’ father Michael Douglas also shared a touching tribute to his daughter on Instagram, posting a carousel of throwback photos and a heartfelt caption. He wrote: ‘Happy Birthday to my beautiful daughter @carys.douglas You are the joy of my life. 21 years of watching you blossom in to the most incredible woman you are today is a God given gift that I never take for granted and cherish every day of my life. Thank you for being you. I love you with all my heart ♥️ Mama.’
Carys responded to her father’s post, writing: ‘I love you Mama ❤️thank you for everything- I am so proud to be your daughter.’
This is not the first time that Carys has twinned with her famous mother. In 2021, the pair donned matching Versace dresses for the premiere of ‘Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania’.
Carys is the youngest of Catherine and Michael’s two children. The couple also share a son, Dylan, who is 23.
