CBSE Offers Post-Result Options for Students Seeking Improvement

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has introduced various post-result options for students seeking to improve their performance or verify their marks. These options are available online and have specific timelines.

If a student believes there is a discrepancy in their marks, they can apply for online verification. They can also request a scanned copy of their answer book for a closer examination. If still unsatisfied, they can opt for re-evaluation, where a different examiner will re-check their answer book.

In line with the National Education Policy 2020, CBSE has introduced the Supplementary Examination, replacing the Compartment Exam. This exam allows students to improve their scores in up to two subjects for Class X and one subject for Class XII. Students who have passed but wish to improve their scores can also appear for this exam.

The Supplementary Exam will be held from July 15th, 2024, and will be based on the same syllabus as the Main Examinations 2024. The CBSE Main Examinations for 2025 will commence on February 15th, 2025.
