CBSE Recruitment 2024: Last Chance to Challenge Answer Key Today

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that the deadline to challenge the answer key for its recruitment exam is today, August 20, 2024, at 11:59 PM. Candidates who believe there are discrepancies in the answer key have until this time to submit their objections.

The CBSE conducted the recruitment exam on August 3, 10, and 11, 2024, for 118 vacant posts across various administrative categories. These include Assistant Secretary (Academics, Training, and Skill Education) and other Group A, Group B, and Group C positions.

The answer key was released by the board on Saturday, August 17, 2024, and the portal to challenge it was opened on the same day. Candidates can access their OMR sheets and download the answer keys from the official CBSE website at cbse.gov.in.

It’s important to note that only online challenges will be accepted; objections submitted via email, post, or in person will not be entertained. To challenge an answer, candidates need to pay a non-refundable fee of ₹1,000 per question via credit or debit card.

According to the official notice, if the board accepts a challenge and finds a mistake in the answer key, a policy decision will be notified. In such cases, the challenge fee will be refunded to the candidate’s credit or debit card account.

Selected candidates will undergo a probationary period as per applicable rules. This period can be extended at the discretion of the Competent Authority. The board reserves the right to terminate the services of a probationer at any time during this period with 30 days’ notice or one month’s salary.

Candidates are advised to visit the official CBSE website for further information and updates regarding the recruitment process.
