The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released the re-evaluation and verification results for the Class 10 and 12 board exams of 2024. Students who had previously requested a re-evaluation of their marks can now access their updated scorecards on the official CBSE website, results.cbse.nic.in.
The CBSE had previously declared the results for Class 10 and 12 board exams on May 13, 2024. Students who were dissatisfied with their initial scores were given the opportunity to apply for re-evaluation or verification of their marks. The re-evaluation process involves a thorough re-checking of the answer scripts by a different examiner, while the verification process focuses on checking for any clerical errors that may have occurred during the initial marking and totaling of marks.
To access their updated results, students need to follow these simple steps:
1. Visit the official CBSE website: results.cbse.nic.in
2. Click on the ‘Results’ tab on the website.
3. Select ‘Class 10/12 Re-evaluation/Verification Result 2024’ from the available options.
4. Enter your roll number and other required credentials accurately.
5. Click on the ‘Submit’ button to view your updated results.
Your re-evaluated result will be displayed on the screen. It is advisable to download and print a copy of the updated results for future reference.
The re-evaluation process for Class 12 began on May 17, 2024, with the opening of applications for mark verification. The deadline for submitting applications for mark verification was May 21, 2024. Similarly, for Class 10, the mark verification process commenced on May 20, 2024, and concluded on May 24, 2024.
It is important to note that only students who applied for mark verification are eligible to apply for the re-evaluation of their CBSE Results 2024.
