CBSE Releases Re-evaluation and Verification Results for Class X and XII

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the results for Class X and Class XII after re-evaluation and verification for Lot 2 on July 30, 2024. This announcement follows the initial results of the annual examinations, which were declared on May 13, 2024. Students who applied for re-evaluation and verification can now check their updated results on the official CBSE website.

The re-evaluation and verification process is crucial for students who believe there may have been discrepancies in their initial results. This process offers a review of their answer sheets, ensuring any errors in the original evaluation are corrected, providing students with a fair assessment of their performance.

In addition to the re-evaluation and verification results, CBSE also conducted improvement and supplementary examinations for students who wished to enhance their scores or needed to pass subjects they had previously failed. For Class 10, the supplementary exams were conducted from July 15 to July 22, 2024, while for Class 12, the exams were held on July 15, 2024. These supplementary exams provide students with another opportunity to achieve their academic goals and improve their overall scores. Students who appeared for these exams are advised to check the CBSE website for updates on their results.

The CBSE Class 10 board exams were conducted from February 15 to March 13, 2024, while the Class 12 board exams were held from February 15 to April 2, 2024. A total of 22,38,827 students appeared for the Class X exams, while approximately 16,21,224 students took the Class XII exams. The results were initially announced on May 13, 2024, showcasing an overall pass percentage of 93.60% for Class 10 and 87.98% for Class 12. The high pass percentages reflected the consistent academic performance and efforts of students across the country. However, some students were dissatisfied with their scores and applied for re-evaluation and verification, seeking a review of their answer sheets.

Students can access their results by logging into the official CBSE website using their roll number and other required credentials.
