To celebrate the 10th anniversary of its Sydney-Manila route, Cebu Pacific is taking its commitment to connecting the Philippines and Australia to a new level. Starting December 1, 2024, the airline will offer daily flights between Sydney and Manila, significantly increasing the frequency from its current five-day-a-week schedule.
This upgrade is a testament to the route’s success since its launch on September 9, 2014. The Sydney-Manila route has become one of Cebu Pacific’s most popular international connections, catering to the growing demand for travel between the two countries.
The daily service will be operated using Cebu Pacific’s modern and fuel-efficient Airbus A330neo aircraft. These aircraft offer a comfortable and spacious cabin with 3,213 seats available per week. The A330neo is also designed to be more environmentally friendly, burning 15% less fuel per flight and producing lower noise levels compared to its predecessors. This translates into reduced carbon emissions and a more sustainable travel experience.
The expansion of the Sydney-Manila route is part of Cebu Pacific’s ongoing commitment to enhancing connectivity between the Philippines and Australia. Last month, the airline announced plans to increase its Melbourne service by adding a fourth weekly flight. These efforts highlight the airline’s dedication to providing more options for travelers and boosting tourism and trade between the two nations.
