The festival’s high point arrives on Monday, August 5th with the exhilarating J’ouvert Celebration, a pre-dawn street party. Unique in the Caribbean, Anguilla’s J’ouvert concludes on the beach with a day-long beach party and concert. The much-awaited Miss Anguilla Pageant takes place on Tuesday, August 6th, showcasing the island’s grace and beauty, with a special nod to past winners.
Wednesday, August 7th, features the Calypso Monarch Competition at the renowned Landsome Bowl Cultural Centre. The excitement continues with ‘Eyes Wide Shut’ on Thursday, August 8th, promising a night and morning filled with mesmerizing performances and unexpected delights.
The Grand Parade of Troupes on Friday, August 9th, promises a dazzling display of costumes and dance, a must-see spectacle. The festival excitement peaks on Saturday, August 10th, with the adrenaline-pumping Poker Run, an adventurous card game across five stunning beaches, featuring top DJs, contests, and gourmet offerings.
The festival wraps up with the exhilarating “Champ of Champs” boat race, Anguilla’s most anticipated maritime event.
