Celtics Fan Erin Andrews Shows Support in Round 1 of NBA Playoffs

Fox Sports’ beloved Erin Andrews has expressed her support for the Boston Celtics as they embark on the NBA playoffs. The 45-year-old sideline reporter proudly wore a Celtics jersey from her clothing line, WEAR, in a post shared with her 2.2 million Instagram followers.

Andrews, who launched her signature clothing brand in 2019, showcased her Celtics jersey before the tip-off of Round 1. Posing in a mirror selfie, she flaunted a stylish green jacket emblazoned with the Celtics logo. The Celtics emerged victorious in their first game against the Miami Heat, securing a 114-94 win at the TD Garden.

Andrews, a native of Lewiston, Maine, has been an avid Celtics fan since her childhood. Her passion for basketball ignited her interest in broadcasting. “My dad was a great storyteller and he’d tell me all about the Celtics, and stories [about] Larry Bird and Kevin McHale,” Andrews shared with Forbes. “Then one time we were watching NBA on NBC, and I just said, ‘Dad, I want to do this.’”

Beyond her role with Fox Sports, Andrews has expanded into other ventures. She recently launched a jewelry line and has collaborated with Major League Baseball to create MLB team-themed jewelry. Pop icon Taylor Swift was spotted wearing one of WEAR’s Kansas City Chiefs dog tag necklaces during the AFC Championship game in January.

Andrews’ broadcasting career has spanned multiple networks. She began her journey with Fox Sports Florida – South as a freelance reporter before moving to the Sunshine Network and Turner Sports. Her eight-year stint at ESPN included hosting College GameDay, but she returned to Fox in 2012 to cover NFL games. Throughout her illustrious career, Andrews has covered Super Bowls and the World Series.

In addition to her professional endeavors, Andrews co-hosts the podcast “Calm Down” with her colleague Charissa Thompson. The podcast, which launched in 2021, has released over 235 episodes. Andrews recently opened up on the podcast about the challenges of motherhood, admitting to feeling “in a rut” with her appearance and daily routine.
