Monday’s contest between the Central Dauphin Rams and Chambersburg Trojans was a testament to the intensity of high school softball. Allie Wenrich set the tone for the Rams, launching two towering homeruns and driving in four runs. Her offensive prowess set the stage for Central Dauphin’s victory.
Stella Gasper’s double and three RBIs, along with Rachel Burke’s homerun and two RBIs, further propelled the Rams’ offense. The Trojans, however, put up a valiant fight, keeping the game close throughout. But in the end, Central Dauphin’s offensive firepower proved too much to overcome, securing them the 12-10 victory.
