Centrelink Payment and Reporting Dates Adjusted for Anzac Day Holiday
To accommodate branch closures and processing delays during the Anzac Day public holiday, Centrelink has adjusted payment and reporting dates for customers.
Branch Closures and Call Center Availability
Centrelink branches across Australia will be closed on Thursday, April 25th, for the Anzac Day holiday. Most call centers will also be closed, but online services and phone self-services will remain operational.
Reporting and Payment Changes
Customers may need to report their income earlier than usual due to the holiday closures. However, they may also receive their payments sooner. New reporting dates are available on individual Centrelink online accounts.
For those receiving JobSeeker, Youth Allowance, Farm Household, Austudy, Special Benefit, and Status Resolution Support Services payments, specific date changes apply.
Similarly, adjusted dates are in effect for families receiving Parenting Payment, Pensioner Education Supplement, Assistance for Isolated Child, Carer Payment, Carer Allowance, ABSTUDY, and the Age, Disability, or Double Orphan pension.
Early Payments and Late Reporting
If income reporting is not required to receive a Centrelink payment, the payment will be made a day early.
For those needing to report income after the holiday, they can do so once the information is available. The payment will be processed after the report is submitted.
Centrelink urges customers to check their online accounts for specific reporting and payment dates and to make necessary adjustments to ensure timely reporting and payments.
