Get ready for an electrifying update to the Chevrolet Silverado EV! For the 2025 model year, Chevy is shaking things up with lower prices, extended driving range, and exciting new trim options. The starting price for the Work Truck (WT) model has been slashed to $57,095, making the Silverado EV more accessible than ever.
But that’s not all. The Max Range version of the WT model now boasts an impressive 492 miles of EPA-estimated range, a significant leap from the 2024 model’s 450-mile range. This extended range, achieved for a price of $77,795, positions the Silverado EV as a serious contender in the electric truck market.
To further broaden the appeal of the Silverado EV, Chevy is introducing the LT trim for the first time. This new trim will offer a more affordable RST package and expand the WT offerings, catering to a wider range of buyers. The 2025 LT trim starts at $75,195 and offers a range of 408 miles. For those looking for a premium experience, there’s a higher-priced trim available for $81,995, providing a range of 390 miles. This premium trim is expected to be a popular choice, featuring a powerful 645 horsepower engine, a towing capacity of 12,500 pounds, a payload of 1,800 pounds, and fast-charging capability up to 300kW DC. Both versions are eligible for the federal EV tax credit.
Chevy has also made significant changes to the RST trim for 2025. In contrast to the 2024 model, which only had the RST trim priced at nearly $100,000, Chevy has expanded the lineup for 2025 with more options. A lower-cost RST will now start at $89,395 with a 390-mile range. Chevy’s driver assistance feature, SuperCruise, will be available in the premium package.
Most 2025 Silverados are slated to be delivered later this year, but the lowest-priced model will arrive later in the model year. With its competitive pricing, extended range, and new trim options, the 2025 Chevy Silverado EV is poised to capture the attention of truck buyers seeking a powerful and efficient electric alternative.
