Get ready to experience the future of mobility! The Chicago Automobile Trade Association (CATA), producers of the renowned Chicago Auto Show, have announced the dates for the third annual Chicago Drives Electric event. This exciting outdoor consumer test drive and EV education experience will take place from October 3-6, 2024, at the CATA’s headquarters in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois.
This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever, offering the public an unparalleled opportunity to get behind the wheel of the latest all-electric, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid vehicles. Whether you’re an avid EV enthusiast or just starting to explore the world of electric mobility, Chicago Drives Electric has something for everyone.
The event will feature a diverse lineup of vehicles from leading manufacturers, including Audi, BMW, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Ford, GMC, Hyundai, Kia, Toyota, Volkswagen, and Volvo. Attendees will have the opportunity to test drive these vehicles firsthand, experience their impressive performance, and gain valuable insights from knowledgeable product specialists. These experts will be on hand to answer questions, explain the intricacies of EV technology, and provide guidance on how EVs can integrate seamlessly into your lifestyle.
Beyond the test drives, the event will also offer a comprehensive education program, covering topics such as charging infrastructure, financial incentives, and the environmental benefits of going electric. You’ll have the chance to learn about home charging options, explore available rebates and incentives, and understand the impact of EVs on reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Chicago Drives Electric is a collaborative effort, with Cars.com and ComEd returning as premier sponsors of the event. Cars.com will have experts onsite throughout the weekend, providing valuable insights and answering consumer questions. ComEd will be present to discuss home charging solutions, rebates, incentives, and more. Powering Chicago will also be on hand to provide support and information about home charging installation.
To participate in this electrifying event, attendees must pre-register for a timeslot. Tickets and registration are now open at ChicagoDrivesElectric.com.
