Chick-fil-A Customer Finds Unique Chicken Nugget, Sparks Online Debate
A video shared on TikTok by a user named Star has garnered significant attention after she posted a clip of an unusual chicken nugget she received from Chick-fil-A. The 26-second video shows a close-up of the nugget, which had a peculiar shape that stood out from the others. Star expressed her concern, stating, “One thing I don’t play about is my food, because what… is this?”
The video quickly gained traction on TikTok, with viewers offering their humorous interpretations of what the nugget resembled. Some joked that it looked like an armadillo, while others likened it to a dinosaur. The sheer popularity of the video prompted Star to post a follow-up, in which she visited the Chick-fil-A location with the nugget in hand to seek an explanation.
According to Star, the staff at Chick-fil-A attributed the unusual shape to the batter, adding that they were amused by the incident. Star further stated that despite the nugget’s unconventional appearance, the staff responded positively by providing her with a complimentary meal.
A similar incident occurred in 2021 when a Chick-fil-A employee shared an in-depth look at the chicken nugget production process. The process involves removing diced chicken breast pieces from the refrigerator, coating them in a milk-and-egg wash, breading them in seasoned flour, and then submerging them into hot peanut oil. The pressure cooker completes the cooking process.
