Calgary Police received a call at around 11:40 a.m. regarding the incident, which occurred near one of the mall’s entrances. Emergency Medical Services swiftly responded and transported the adult victim to the hospital. While the victim’s condition was initially critical, they have since been stabilized. The investigation into the incident has commenced, with authorities actively pursuing the suspect who initially fled the scene but was later apprehended at the Chinook LRT station.
