Red Bull team principal Christian Horner has firmly denied speculation that he and his wife Geri Halliwell are planning to star in a fly-on-the-wall family documentary.
There had been reports that the pair were in talks with Netflix over a doc similar to the Beckhams’ which would capture them at home, away from their lives at the Formula One track and as a former Spice Girl.
Horner was accused, and subsequently cleared, of inappropriate behaviour but the saga caused his future to be questioned along with key team members Max Verstappen, Helmut Marko and Adrian Newey.

Such moments could have been featured in a docu-series that had been tipped to start a bidding war and reportedly had interest from Netflix.
But Horner vehemently shut down the idea of his home life with Halliwell being broadcasted worldwide and was baffled at the idea of being given more screentime.
“There is a lot being written about different things, but there are absolutely no plans to do a family documentary,” Horner said at the Chinese GP.
“Netflix do enough, and you see enough of the behind-the-scenes on that. So where that report has come from, I have absolutely no idea.”
Horner was referring to the similar fly-on-the-wall Netflix documentary ‘Drive To Survive’ which has ran for six seasons and provides viewers with an inside look at the sport and its key figures, with the Red Bull chief a prominent figure since the show’s inception.
Creator and chief executive James Gay-Rees confirmed that the seventh season, due to be released in 2025, will cover Horner’s ongoing saga.
