Christina Hendricks, the American actress best known for her role as office manager Joan Holloway Harris in the HBO series Mad Men, has tied the knot with her cameraman partner George Bianchini on Sunday. The couple announced their engagement on March 10 2023 and exchanged vows on April 20, 2024.
Hendricks took to Instagram on Wednesday to share the news, posting a photo of herself in a white lace-style gown that covered her arms and up to her neck along with a veil and flowers. Her husband wore a reddish suit with a pink shirt as he stood beside her on their special day.
“On Saturday April 20, 2024 I married George Bianchini,” Hendricks wrote in her Instagram post. “It was the most beautiful weekend of my life. Thank you to all of our friends and family for joining us.”
Hendricks and Bianchini have been dating since 2019, and he has worked as a camera operator on the NBC crime drama series Good Girls, in which Hendricks starred. Hendricks was previously married to actor Geoffrey Arend from 2009 to 2019.
Celebrity friends of Hendricks, including Kat Dennings, Imogen Waterhouse, and Alison Brie, took to the comments section of her Instagram post to congratulate the couple.
“Congratulations!! Beautiful!!.” Brie wrote.
“Yay!!!! So beautiful!” Dennings said.
“Congratulations!! Beautiful bride,” Waterhouse added.
Hendricks’ marriage to Bianchini marks a new chapter in her life, and we wish the couple all the happiness and love in the years to come.
