Former ‘Top Gear’ host Paddy McGuinness and his ex-wife Christine McGuinness, a well-known model and TV personality, have been separated since 2022 after 11 years of marriage. The couple, who share three children, still reside under the same roof. In a recent interview, Christine candidly discussed her current relationship status and the lack of intimacy in her life.
She explained that her celibacy is not a choice but rather a reflection of her current life circumstances: ‘It’s just where I am at in my life right now: I want to focus on me.’ She added, ‘I’m also quite realistic about what I can and can’t do. I don’t want to put myself in a position where I’m spending time with someone and it may develop into a relationship and I’m not quite ready for that.’
Christine emphasized the significance of her journey of self-discovery following her separation: ‘I met my ex-husband when I was 19. I’ve been separated for two years and never had time for myself. I’m not in a big rush.’ Her focus remains on her own well-being and personal growth as she navigates this new chapter in her life.
