Get ready to hit the slopes! Christy Sports, the leading outdoor retailer and service provider, is bringing back its popular full-season ski and snowboard gear rental program for the 2024-25 winter season. This program is designed to make winter sports more accessible and affordable for families, encouraging everyone to experience the thrill of the slopes together.
Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a first-timer, Christy Sports has a rental package for you. For the little ones, there are special junior season rental + season pass bundles available starting at $289 (Ages 6-14). These bundles combine affordable rentals with season-long mountain access at Loveland Ski Area, making it easier for kids to get on the slopes. If you’re looking for a more expansive adventure, Monarch Bundles starting at $343 (Ages 7-12) offer a similar experience at Monarch Mountain. Both bundles are only available at Front Range locations.
For adults, season gear rental packages start at $239 in Colorado and Utah, and $329 in Washington. You can choose an all-inclusive package or rent individual items like boots, skis, or a snowboard, offering one of the most cost-effective ways to enjoy the great outdoors all winter.
Making Winter Sports Accessible for All
Christy Sports is committed to making winter sports accessible to everyone. That’s why they’ve continued their partnership with Colorado Ski Country USA (CSCUSA) as the 2024 Presenting Sponsor for the Ski Passport Program. This fantastic program gives kids from third through sixth grade access to discounted or free skiing and snowboarding at 20 Colorado Ski Country USA member ski areas.
As part of this partnership, Christy Sports is offering two days of free rental gear for kids and an additional 15% off season rentals booked by December 15, 2024. They are also providing discounts on helmets for passport participants to ensure safety on the slopes.
“We are thrilled to continue our Ski Passport Program in 2024. Christy Sports’ involvement is crucial for integrating the next generation into the snow sport industry through their continuous work in removing barriers of entry,” said Sarah Beatty, Director of Communications, Colorado Ski Country USA. “We also get to team up to teach new skiers and snowboarders how to stay safe on the slopes by equipping them with proper gear fittings and going over the National Ski Areas Association’s 10-part Responsibility Code. Together with Christy Sports, we’re making more opportunities for young people to experience the thrill of the slopes while building a more inclusive community.”
A Commitment to Inclusivity and Safety
Christy Sports is committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all, offering opportunities for everyone to enjoy the beauty of the mountains. In addition to their partnership with CSCUSA, Christy Sports also partners with Woodward Park City, She Jumps, SOS Outreach, and Share Winter. These partnerships are all aimed at making winter sports more accessible, promoting safety, and inspiring a love for the outdoors.
This season, Christy Sports is making it easier than ever to experience the thrill of winter sports. With their full-season gear rental program and partnerships with organizations dedicated to inclusivity, there’s no reason not to #stepoutside and join the fun!
