In the whirlwind of hospitalizations and medical emergencies, families often find themselves struggling not only with the health challenges their children face but also with the burden of meeting basic needs. From ensuring reliable transportation to the hospital to affording essential medications and medical supplies, the financial strain can heighten an already stressful situation. In these moments of vulnerability, CMN Hershey offers a lifeline of support, enabling families to focus their energy on their child’s well-being. CMN Hershey’s mission is to raise funds and provide support for children’s hospitals across the country. Through its partnership with Penn State Health Children’s Hospital, CMN Hershey has been able to make a significant impact on the lives of countless children and families in the community. During Penn State Health Children’s Week, CMN Hershey hosted a variety of events and activities to raise awareness and funds for the hospital. These events included a golf tournament, a 5K run/walk, and a silent auction. The week culminated in a special celebration at the hospital, where CMN Hershey presented a check for $1 million to the hospital’s foundation. The funds raised during Penn State Health Children’s Week will be used to support a variety of programs and services at the hospital, including the purchase of new equipment, the expansion of existing programs, and the provision of financial assistance to families in need. CMN Hershey is grateful for the support of the community during Penn State Health Children’s Week.
