In a speech delivered at the Green Pakistan Initiative conference, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir urged the nation to unite against negative forces and prioritize Pakistan’s development. He emphasized that negative propaganda and social media trolls should not deter the nation from its pursuit of prosperity.
General Munir assured the unwavering support of the armed forces in confronting all inimical forces that seek to hinder Pakistan’s progress. He declared that the country’s armed forces, with the support of the people, would prevail over any attempt to obstruct its path towards development and prosperity.
Recognizing the critical role of economic stability, COAS Munir stressed the need to overcome economic challenges. He affirmed that true independence cannot be achieved without economic autonomy. No instability would be tolerated in Pakistan’s journey toward prosperity and development, he warned.
In a previous meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, COAS Munir pledged the Pakistan Army’s unwavering resolve to support government initiatives aimed at economic recovery. Discussions focused on measures to combat illegal activities, corruption, and criminal mafias, as part of the broader goal of ensuring a stable and prosperous future for Pakistan.
