Collision in North Edmonton Injures Multiple
A traffic collision in north Edmonton on Tuesday afternoon resulted in multiple injuries and the issuance of a traffic citation.
The incident occurred at the intersection of 82nd Street and 149A Avenue at approximately 1:35 p.m. According to police reports, a Jaguar XF traveling northbound on 82nd Street proceeded through a red light and collided with an eastbound Ford truck.
The impact of the collision sent three occupants of the Jaguar and the driver of the truck to a nearby hospital for precautionary measures. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported.
Following an investigation, police issued a traffic citation to the driver of the Jaguar for failing to stop at a red light. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
