A construction mishap occurred in Surat, Gujarat, on Thursday, during the ongoing metro construction work. A crane used to lift materials collapsed onto a nearby building. Thankfully, no casualties were reported.
Divisional Fire Officer Hardik Patel explained that the incident occurred while the crane was lifting an object. A portion of the crane structure detached and fell onto the building. Patel confirmed that the building, a bungalow, was unoccupied and had already been sold.
