Croatia Airlines has launched its inaugural flight on the newly established seasonal route between Split and Istanbul, enhancing its international offerings from Split Airport for the current year. The maiden voyage, flight number OU4352, was conducted using an Airbus A319, carrying 77 travelers to Istanbul. The journey back to Split, flight number 4353, transported 31 passengers earlier today. In celebration of this new route, Croatia Airlines offered a special 20 percent discount voucher to all passengers on these inaugural flights, valid for their next ticket purchase on the same route. The airline has scheduled direct services between Split and Istanbul three times weekly — Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays — until mid-October, improving its network of connections between Split and various global cities. For the ongoing summer schedule, Croatia Airlines is set to link Split Airport with 21 international locations, covering 22 different airports, including major cities such as Amsterdam, Athens, Vienna, Berlin, and many more. Looking ahead to the tourist peak season, the airline plans to expand its reach to 28 international destinations, involving 29 European airports, by operating on 50 international routes. Additionally, Croatia Airlines anticipates conducting over 17,200 flights and offering upwards of 2,000,000 seats during this period.
