Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden was the epitome of elegance and royalty at a state banquet hosted by her parents, King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia, during the Finnish state visit to Sweden. The future queen of Sweden, known for her impeccable fashion sense, recycled her ‘Feather Trimmed Capelet Gown’ from Toteme, a regal ensemble featuring a cape and a floor-length skirt.
The piece, which perfectly complemented her signature low bun, had a plunging V-shaped neckline that added a touch of allure. Victoria completed her royal look with a dazzling array of diamonds, including the Boucheron Laurel Wreath Tiara, the star of the Order of the Seraphim, and the King Carl XVI Gustaf’s Royal Family Order.
Princess Sofia, Victoria’s sister-in-law, also looked stunning in a navy blue Oscar de la Renta gown, which she had previously worn in 2015. The gown featured a sheer panel across the decolletage adorned with dainty flowers. Sofia breathed new life into her wedding tiara, the diamond palmette tiara, by adding blue sapphires atop the diamond setting.
For the welcoming ceremony, Crown Princess Victoria exuded elegance in a royal blue silk dress from Pär Engsheden, paired with Jimmy Choo heels and a statement headband. Princess Sofia, on the other hand, put a modern spin on tweed in a chartreuse A-line dress from Andiata, complemented by Versace heels and a matching headband.
Crown Princess Victoria’s affinity for tweed was evident earlier this month when she visited Sweden’s Supreme Court in Stockholm in a ‘Lesley’ blazer from the same brand as Sofia’s tweed dress. She paired the cream blazer with matching wide-leg trousers and Gianvito Rossi ankle boots.
Victoria’s fashion choices extended beyond gowns and dresses, as she was spotted in an orange trouser suit from Zara on Wednesday. The bold combo was paired with the same Gianvito Rossi boots and an ivory Vesnaw satin camisole for the opening of the Global Sustainable Tourism Conference.
