The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) has announced the dates for the Stage 2 exams for Section Officer (SO) and Assistant Section Officer (ASO) positions as part of the CSIR Recruitment 2024. Candidates preparing for these exams can find the official notification on CSIR’s website at csir.res.in.
The exams are scheduled for July 7, 2024. The descriptive paper for SO and ASO will take place from 10 AM to 12 PM, while the Assistant Section Officer’s Computer-Based Test (CBT) is set for 3 PM to 4 PM.
Only those who passed the Stage 1 exam, the results of which were published on June 2, 2024, are eligible to sit for the Stage II exams. The list of qualified candidates is available on the website.
The admit cards for the CSIR SO and ASO Stage 2 exams will be accessible on the official CSIR website and the online exam portal starting July 4, 2024. Candidates must download their admit cards by entering the necessary credentials, such as their registered email, date of birth, and mobile OTP. It is important for candidates to thoroughly read the instructions on the admit card before attending the examination. Please note that requests for changing the examination center will not be considered.

1. Visit the official website of CSIR at csir.res.in.
2. Find the CSIR Recruitment 2024 link available on the home page and click on it.
3. A new page will appear on the screen where candidates will get the admit card link.
4. Click on the link and enter the required login credentials.
5. Click on the submit button and your admit card will be visible on the screen.
6. Check the admit card for vital information and download the page.
7. Have a hard copy of the hall ticket for further use.
