Pamela Richards’ unwavering commitment to tourism and her visionary leadership left an indelible mark on the Caribbean. Her dedication to enhancing data collection, training opportunities, best practices, and public relations efforts played a vital role in bolstering the region’s tourism industry. Richards also spearheaded the appointment of Vincent Vanderpool-Wallace as CTO Secretary-General and fostered sustainable development and cooperation between the public and private sectors. During her chairmanship, the USVI successfully hosted the CTO’s annual Caribbean Tourism Conference (CTC-28) in St. Thomas. Chairman Kenneth Bryan extended heartfelt condolences to Richards’ family, friends, and the government and people of the Virgin Islands.
