This summer has been a rollercoaster ride of weather but hungry Brits have found an indoor grill perfect to cater for a crowd of food lovers come rain or shine. The Cuisinart Entertaining Grill brings the joy of barbecuing indoors and with its extra large hot plate and griddle pan, it’s comfortable to feed a big party at the comfort of your own home.
With a dual variable temperature range of 90°C to 260°C – you can sear meat or grill vegetables. The teppanyaki-style hot plates also feature ultra-fast heat recovery, ensuring quick and thorough cooking while saving you time in the kitchen.
And now shoppers can enjoy a big discount on Groupon with 69% off, the Entertaining Grill has dropped in price from £250 to £77.99. It might not be the most space-saving cooking gadget, but shoppers said it worked better than frying pans and ovens.
The grill also comes with a built-in drip tray, which allows excess oils to drain from the plate so you can say goodbye to drips and spills and a messy kitchen. The plate is big enough to cook multiple burger patties and grill corn on the cob and vegetables.
One shopper said: “I have found that it takes only a short time to heat up and with the non-stick coating it simply wipes clean after use and I don’t need a splatter guard while cooking like I did when using a frying pan.” Another shared: “It does what it says and much more, awesome for steaks, burgers and fish, plus much more! More of an indoor BBQ.”
Some people mentioned that the grill can get hot at the bottom and suggested not to place the cooker over a plastic or glass table. They said it takes up almost the size of a stove. “This grill is intended to be used indoors only (as per manual) so make sure you have some ventilation. The recommended clearance is 100mm around front, back and sides and 700mm between the cooking plate and the underside of any horizontal surface above,” one reminded.
The non-stick plate is another feature loved by many shoppers, with one saying: “You don’t need to worry about getting meat stuck on the plate and the cooking plate can be bunged straight in the dishwasher to cut down on the washing up after your party.”
Ninja’s Sizzle Indoor Grill and Flat Plate is another high-scorer from cooking fans, the £149.99 gadget has a family-sized capacity that fits up to six burgers and heats up to 260°C. It also includes a grease catch and detachable mesh lid.
Chefman’s Electric Smokeless Indoor Grill comes with a budget-friendly price tag and Amazon has reduced it further to £43.95. But it’s not as big as the Cuisinart version.
