Jasmin Larian Hekmat, the designer behind Cult Gaia, sought inspiration from nature for her latest collection, resulting in a grounded and earthy aesthetic. The collection features a cool palette of blues, creams, and greens, incorporating florals, particularly irises, in a variety of forms. Hekmat also drew inspiration from water and the ocean, creating a slinky knit dress with crystal fringes resembling raindrops and a pleated blue mini dress reminiscent of rolling waves.
Cult Gaia’s focus on nature-inspired getaway attire is evident in the collection. To enhance the designs, Hekmat experimented with new materials such as satin, creating a powder-blue coat with molded flower embellishments. Handbags remain a key element of the brand, with Hekmat drawing inspiration from natural shapes for new designs like the Squash top-handle bag resembling a gourd. The heels feature stilettos shaped like calla lilies, showcasing the brand’s commitment to creating bold statements.
Hekmat aims to inspire her customers with her designs, encouraging them to embrace individuality. She believes that nature can inspire creativity and provide endless possibilities for fashion inspiration.
