Renukaswamy’s death, allegedly orchestrated by Kannada actor Darshan and his associate Pavithra Gowda, has sent shockwaves throughout Karnataka. Both the actor and Gowda, along with 15 other individuals, remain in custody as the investigation unfolds. At the time of her husband’s brutal murder, Sahana, Renukaswamy’s wife, was five months pregnant.

Reports reveal that Renukaswamy was lured to a shed in the RR Nagar area of Bengaluru in early June by Raghavendra, a fellow fan club member, under the guise of a meeting with the actor. Tragically, he was subjected to torture and ultimately murdered in that location.
The post-mortem report states that Renukaswamy, a native of Chitradurga, succumbed to shock and hemorrhage due to multiple blunt force injuries. His body was found near a stormwater drain next to an apartment complex in Sumanahalli, Bengaluru, on June 9th.
