## David Beckham Loses Millions in F45 Fitness Deal, Blames Mark Wahlberg
A multi-million pound fitness deal between David Beckham and Mark Wahlberg has gone sour, with Beckham suing the Hollywood actor for allegedly misleading him.
The pair have been friends for over a decade, but their relationship has been strained by the lawsuit. Beckham claims Wahlberg failed to disclose key information during negotiations for a deal to make him the global ambassador for the fitness company F45 Training, which Wahlberg part-owns.
As a result of the alleged misrepresentation, Beckham claims he lost over £8.5 million when stocks he was promised were withheld until after share prices plummeted.
Wahlberg and other defendants in the case have denied the allegations and have asked a judge to dismiss the lawsuit.
A separate case is also being brought against Wahlberg’s investment firm and the founders of F45 Training.
## Beckham and Wahlberg’s Friendship
Beckham and Wahlberg have been friends for over a decade, but their relationship hasn’t always been smooth.
When Beckham moved to Los Angeles in 2007, he became neighbors with Wahlberg, who was reportedly not happy about the increased paparazzi presence in the area.
“Man, the Beckhams. It used to be so quiet on my road,” Wahlberg said in a 2009 interview. “Then David moves in with his family. Suddenly we’ve got paparazzi hanging out day and night. Now they’ll follow any car that drives down the road.
However, the two eventually patched things up, and Wahlberg later said he wanted to make sure there was no animosity between them.
## Wahlberg’s Business Ventures
Mark Wahlberg is as well known for his business ventures as he is for his acting career.
In 2014, he opened the fast food hamburger establishment Wahlburgers with his brothers Donnie and Paul.
He has also invested in the Barbados Tridents cricket team and the sports nutrition company Performance Inspired.
In 2019, Wahlberg bought a stake in the F45 fitness franchise and became its chief brand officer.
## Wahlberg’s Legal History
Wahlberg has a history of legal troubles in his late teenage years.
In 1986, he was charged with chasing three black children and hurling rocks at them while yelling racial slurs.
Two years later, he attacked two Vietnamese men while high on PCP.
Wahlberg was convicted of attempted murder but pleaded guilty to felony assault, claiming that he was intoxicated and denying racial motivation for the attacks.
He was sentenced to a two-year prison term.
In 2014, Wahlberg attempted to seek a pardon for the second attack, but he later dropped his request.
He has since apologized for his actions and said he has “done the work” to make things right.
