David Gest, the former husband of legendary entertainer Liza Minnelli, has addressed rumors and allegations surrounding a fraudulent promoter and financial mismanagement related to a supposed performance in Budapest.
Speaking to Insight, Australia’s leading forum for debate and first-person stories, Gest expressed regret over his ex-wife’s feelings of envy and jealousy, emphasizing that he values the love expressed by her current husband. He firmly denied any involvement in the fraudulent scheme, stating that he was also a victim of the promoter’s deception and that he believes Liza Minnelli was similarly victimized.
