Varshney offered Warner various incentives, including a movie and a free meal, but Warner remained unimpressed. However, when the prospect of obtaining a free Aadhar Card was raised, Warner’s enthusiasm skyrocketed. He exclaimed, “Chalo Chalo Chalo” (Let’s go, let’s go) and even lifted Varshney in excitement. The video, filmed at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, highlights Warner’s genuine affection for India and its culture. Fans on social media have been delighted by Warner’s antics, and his love for the country has only grown stronger over time.
Warner’s injury concerns during IPL 2024 have kept him out of a few matches for the Delhi Capitals. He sustained a thumb injury in their clash against the Lucknow Super Giants and missed the subsequent match against the Gujarat Titans. He returned for the Sunrisers Hyderabad clash but was rested again in the second match against Gujarat Titans on Wednesday. In his absence, batting prodigy Jake Fraser-McGurk took over the opener’s role in the GT game. Despite the injury setback, Warner has still managed to score 167 runs in seven matches for the Delhi Capitals in IPL 2024.
