The Dayton Bulldogs showcased their offensive prowess in a resounding 17-3 victory over Newark East Side on the lacrosse field in Springfield. Gianna Guensch emerged as the star of the show, netting an impressive four goals for the Bulldogs. Sarah Kaesshaefer also made her mark on the scoreboard, contributing three goals to Dayton’s impressive tally.
In between the pipes, Abby Oknin stood tall for the Bulldogs, denying 12 shots from the Newark East Side offense. The win propelled Dayton to a 5-2 overall record, while Newark East Side faced a setback, dropping their record to 1-4. As the high school lacrosse season progresses, the Dayton Bulldogs will look to maintain their winning ways, while Newark East Side will aim to rebound and secure their first victory.
