FORT WORTH, Texas — One person was killed and another was hospitalized in a shooting in Fort Worth Tuesday, according to police.
Police responded to the shooting in the 2400 block of Irion Avenue shortly after 5:30 p.m. One person was pronounced dead at the scene, while a second person was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening gunshot wounds.
A suspect was taken into custody without incident, but police have not yet released any additional information about the individuals involved or the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
