Declan Rice’s girlfriend, Lauren Fryer, has deleted all of her Instagram pictures after being subjected to a barrage of online bullying. The 25-year-old has been in a relationship with Rice, also 25, for eight years, and the couple shares a one-year-old son together.
The bullying began in December, when Rice was told that he “could do better” than Fryer. The abuse continued, prompting Fryer to delete her Instagram account, which had over 70,000 followers.
Former Love Island star Liberty Poole has since come out in support of Fryer, condemning the unrealistic beauty standards perpetuated on social media. Poole wrote on Instagram: “What happened to celebrating different body types and embracing how we are all individually made. Beauty standards these days are unrealistic and everyone’s gone mad because of social media.”
Rice and Fryer have been together since they were teenagers. They welcomed their son, Jude, in August 2022. Fryer is a regular supporter of Rice’s football career, attending games at the Emirates Stadium and supporting him at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
