Its exceptional facilities, including picnic areas, cycle hire, and toilets, along with an on-site cafe and information point, contributed to its inclusion.
Easily accessible by car or train, Delamere Forest boasts diverse scenery ranging from evergreen woodlands to open grasslands and wetlands. Adventure enthusiasts can embark on aerial courses at Go Ape, navigate the forest on Segways, or follow the enchanting Gruffalo trails designed for young explorers. Horse riders are also welcome, with a designated car park for trailers.
