Delhi Metro Extends Services for Lok Sabha Elections

In a move to provide convenient transportation options for individuals engaged in election-related duties during the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Delhi, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced the extension of its metro train services. On May 25th, the day of the elections, metro trains on all lines will commence operations from 4:00 am.

This extended service will run with a frequency of 30 minutes on all lines until 6:00 am, allowing ample time for election personnel to utilize the metro system. DMRC aims to ensure seamless transportation for those involved in the electoral process, recognizing the crucial role they play in ensuring a smooth and efficient election day.

Following the initial period of extended service, regular metro train services will resume throughout the day, catering to the general public as usual. This initiative demonstrates DMRC’s commitment to supporting the democratic process and facilitating the smooth conduct of the Lok Sabha elections in Delhi.
