Delhi-NCR Braces for Light Rain and Thunderstorms, IMD Predicts Wet Spell

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a weather forecast predicting light to moderate rainfall accompanied by light thunderstorms and lightning in Delhi-NCR. The prediction covers areas including North-West Delhi, West Delhi, Central-Delhi, New Delhi, South-West Delhi, and NCR regions like Gurugram, Manesar, Panipat, Gohana, Rohtak (Haryana), Deoband, Muzaffarnagar, Baraut, Meerut, Raya, Mathura (U.P), and Bhiwari (Rajasthan). This weather pattern is expected to persist for the next two hours.

For Sunday, the IMD predicts generally cloudy skies with light rain. The maximum and minimum temperatures are anticipated to settle around 35 and 28 degrees Celsius, respectively.

Looking ahead, the Meteorological Department has forecasted wet spells in the coming week, extending until July 20. However, no alerts for heavy rainfall have been issued. The maximum and minimum temperatures over the next six days are expected to range between 27 to 36 degrees Celsius.
