Delhi Minister to Meet Kejriwal in Jail

Delhi Minister and AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj will meet Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in Tihar Jail today, party sources said. After Kejriwal was administered a low dose of insulin on Monday, Bharadwaj posted on Twitter, “Officers under the BJP and the Central Government say that all prisoners are the same. Do all Tihar prisoners go to court for insulin? Do all prisoners have to go to court for medical treatment? Do all prisoners have to spend a week on TV and in newspapers debating about insulin?”

Congress Announces Lok Sabha Candidates

The Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) has officially introduced its three Lok Sabha candidates from the Capital — Jai Prakash Agarwal from Chandni Chowk, Kanhaiya Kumar from Northeast Delhi, and Udit Raj from Northwest Delhi — amid protests by a section of workers challenging Raj’s candidature. Of Delhi’s seven seats, the Congress is fighting three and its ally, the AAP, four.

Weather Forecast

The national capital on Wednesday is likely to record below-normal temperatures — in the range of 37 and 23 degrees Celsius. Cloudy skies and strong winds are expected today.
