After a prolonged heatwave, the city of Delhi is set to experience a change in weather patterns on Sunday, bringing relief to its residents. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted light-intensity rain or drizzle accompanied by gusty winds in the early hours of Sunday. This change in weather is expected to extend to neighboring areas, including Gannaur, Sonipat, Rohtak, Kharkhoda, Charkhi Dadri, Mattanhail, Nuh in Haryana, and Baraut, Bagpat, Meerut, Khekra, Modinagar, and Kithor in Uttar Pradesh.
According to the IMD, light rain, drizzle, and gusty winds with speeds ranging from 20 to 30 kilometers per hour are likely to occur over Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR), along with the aforementioned areas. This weather pattern is anticipated to persist for the next two hours, providing much-needed respite from the scorching heat.
