Delhi University has released a simulated rank list for students seeking admission to undergraduate programs in the Academic Year 2024-25. This list provides a tentative indication of students’ potential course and college placements based on their CUET (UG) scores and the preferences they submitted during the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) Phase I.
Delhi University stated that candidates can access their simulated rank on their admission dashboard. However, it’s crucial to understand that this list is a simulated one, not a final allocation. Its purpose is to help students assess their likelihood of being assigned to a specific program. University officials clarified that the list is designed for guidance and not a definitive outcome.
Students have the opportunity to adjust, add, or remove their preferences on the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal until 11:59 p.m. on Monday, August 12. It’s vital to remember that Delhi University will release the first list for seat allocation on Friday, August 16, 2024.
The university has also announced that trials for performance-based programs, including B.A.(H) Music, Bachelor of Fine Arts, B.Sc. Physical Education, Health Education and Sports, and B.Sc. (PE, HE&S), as well as Extra Curricular Activities and Sports supernumerary quotas, will commence on Monday, August 12. Allocations for these programs will take place during the third round of allocations.
Allocations for supernumerary quotas, including CW, ECA, Sports, PMSSS, Sikkim Nominee, and the DU ward quota, will also be made during the third round of allocations. The specific dates for this round will be announced later.
Over 2.4 lakh applicants have registered for undergraduate admissions for the academic year 2024-25. Delhi University is offering admission to over 71,000 seats across more than 65 colleges through the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG). The third phase of the admission process will commence on August 16, focusing on seat allotment and admissions based on candidates’ college-course preferences. Candidates can accept their allocated seats by August 18, followed by college verification and approval of admissions by August 20. The deadline for online fee payment for the first admission round is August 21 at 4:59 pm.
