Delhi University Starts Phase 2 of UG Admissions, Application Window for Phase 1 Remains Open

Delhi University has begun Phase 2 of the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for undergraduate admissions, starting on Thursday, following the release of the CUET—UG results 2024 by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Despite the start of Phase 2, the application window for Phase 1 remains open for eligible candidates who have yet to register for undergraduate admissions. These candidates can register at ugadmission.uod.ac.in until August 7th at 4:59 pm.

According to the Delhi University notification, a rank list will be published on August 11th once both Phases 1 and 2 of the CSAS for undergraduate admissions are complete. Candidates are reminded that they will have the opportunity to modify their program and college preferences from August 11th (5 pm) to August 12th (11:59 pm). The first merit list will be published by Delhi University on August 16th, 2024.

Eligibility Criteria for DU UG Admissions 2024:

Admissions to undergraduate programs offered by the University of Delhi will primarily be based on the scores achieved in the CUET(UG)–2024.

Application Fee for DU UG Admissions 2024:

As per the DU notification, general, OBC, and EWS category students are required to pay a registration fee of ₹ 250. Students from SC, ST, and PWBD categories must pay ₹ 100. Candidates applying for BFA/ B. Sc(PE,HE &S) / B.A.(H) Music will have to pay an additional fee of Rs. 400.00 (non-refundable). An additional fee of ₹ 100 will be charged to those applying under the sports quota. The notification further states that the online application process will only be considered complete after the CSAS(UG)-2024 application fee is paid.

It is important to note that the Delhi University admission process is conducted in three phases. The first phase began with registrations at the DU CSAS 2024 portal. The second phase involves filling in preferences for programs and colleges. The third and final phase includes the allocation and admission of students.
